Toulouse's Market is 50 years old

The MIN ( National Interest Market ) in Toulouse Metropole which is the referent of the food chain for all the Midi- Pyrenees region, is turning 50.
Until 1964 , the MIN was installed instead Arnaud Bernard. Then the market moved to the outskirts of the city near the railway station.
Fruits & Vegetables are 24 wholesalers and over 450 linear meters . Logistics base for wholesalers , it is also a showcase of local production with new " tile producers " which offers 1 hectare of covered area for local farmers.
MIN Toulouse arrived in second position after Rungis. Its surface is 20 hectares and the volume of food sold reached 270,000 tonnes in 2011 and 75% were fruits and vegetables.
