Two Felix Instruments talks set for Fruit Logistica on 5 February
Both sessions address practical postharvest challenges, from large-scale fruit quality measurement to ethylene management in storage, with clear insights that can be applied in day-to-day operations.
Felix Instruments will take part in Fruit Logistica Berlin this year with two speaking sessions on Thursday, 5 February, offering practical insights for growers, storage operators, and fresh-produce professionals across the supply chain.
Both talks focus on real-world challenges faced after harvest — from measuring fruit quality at scale to managing ethylene in storage environments — and are designed to deliver take-away knowledge that can be applied directly in daily operations.
The first session, taking place in the morning, will explore what large-scale data can tell us about freshness trends.
Half a million fruit quality scans: what the data says about the future of freshness
Drawing on insights from more than 500,000 fruit quality scans, the session will look at emerging patterns in freshness and how data is shaping decision-making across postharvest handling and distribution.
Date & time: 5 February, 10:20 AM
Location: Farming Forward Stage, Hall 3.1 | Stand D-10
In the afternoon, the focus shifts to cold storage and ethylene management — a critical factor in maintaining quality and reducing losses.
How to verify ethylene control in your storage environment
This session will outline practical methods for verifying ethylene control in storage facilities, with clear examples that participants can apply immediately to improve storage performance and outcomes.
Date & time: 5 February, 5:00 PM
Location: Insights Stage, Hall 21 | Stand F-60
Visitors are also invited to stop by the Felix Instruments booth (Hall 3.1 | Stand D-33) throughout the show for hands-on demonstrations and discussions with the team.
