China plans to further strengthen its free trade agreements

The Ministry of Commerce plans to accelerate the pace of free trade agreements with partner countries .
China hopes to complete negotiations on a regional comprehensive economic partnership by the end of this year, which would connect the Association of Nations of South -East Asian Nations (ASEAN ) with China, Australia, India , Japan, New Zealand and South Korea , accounting for a third of world gross domestic product.
Also expected this year , the launch of negotiations for a free trade agreement with Israel and study for similar agreements with Colombia , India , Nepal , Maldives and South Pacific island nations such as Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
