Migros & Bio Suisse strengthens their collaboration

In order to make organic food accessible to the greatest number, Migros and Bio Suisse strengthens their cooperation and encourage organic agriculture.

Migros has just renewed the contract with Bio Suisse.  Migros only buys products from farms certified by Bio Suisse.

As regards the processing and importing of organic products, Migros refers to the Swiss Ordinance on Organic Farming.

Marketed since 1995, the label Migros Bio applies today on more than 1000 products. The annual turnover of organic products amounted to 407 million francs, rose by 14%.

Bio Suisse is the main Swiss organic organization, and represents 5,600 agricultural and horticultural enterprises.
