The brand Ploom Lily starts to deploy with the aim of offering a variety of plums, colorful and attractive to consumers, from July to September.
For plums grown in the south west of France (65% of the production of plums in the country).
The brand Lily Ploom will be used by six directors to market (Boyer, Sofruitex, Capel, Cancel Fruits, Rouquette, Apifood) to promote new varieties of plums. This year the capacity is still limited, the first plum available is the Primetime, red-fleshed variety and large size.
Acceleration is planned for 2014/15 with new varieties and a planned capacity of 1000 tons. With the objective to decline a full range of Lily Ploom with red and yellow varieties.
