Delay in harvesting potatoes

The cold weather over most of Western Europe delays the harvesting of potatoes. The early potatoes, such as those of Jersey, have 2 weeks of delay on the normal schedule, while most other potatoes have 3 weeks of delay.
Due to the expected delay in the collection of potatoes, stocks of the previous harvesting will have to be used, stocks that are "historically low" according to NEPG.
Stocks of Belgium are the lowest for 10 years now, a decrease of 46% in a year; stocks of the UK are 18% below, those of France and the Netherlands are 15% and 22% below.
