A new kiwifruit is being released onto the market this week.
51 years exactly since the name of "kiwifruit" was established, Turners and Growers launch on the market the first variety of red kiwifruit this week.
ENZARed has a striking red centre, exotic flavour and a creamy texture.
Turners & Growers estimates the potential market for the red kiwifruit as similar to that of golden kiwifruit, which earns more than $250 million annually.
