Peru grape exports rise in volume as prices ease from previous year

Peru exported 220,487 tonnes of grapes worth US$614.7 million in January-February 2026, according to Agrodata.
Shipments in January reached US$471.2 million (167,210 tonnes), followed by US$143.6 million (53,277 tonnes) in February. The average export price for the period stood at US$2.79 per kilo, slightly below the US$2.89 per kilo recorded a year earlier.
The United States remained the main market for Peruvian grapes, well ahead of other destinations. The Netherlands and Mexico followed, while smaller volumes were sent to the United Kingdom, Spain, Canada, Colombia and Hong Kong.
Compared with the same period in 2025, export volumes increased while prices slipped slightly, reflecting higher supply on international markets.
