Decline in production has helped to regulate the supply and stabilize the market.
Tomato exports from Morocco are decreasing in the European markets.
According to data from the export control agency (EACCE) in mid-November, the export volumes were 44,388 tons against 50,178 tons during the same period last year, a drop in shipments of 12%.
The lower supply is the result of heat waves this summer that have caused damage in plantations.
However, this decline in exports has helped stabilize the market. According to producers, prices were excellent in October and November, up 60-80% from the previous season.
