Melon of Guadeloupe PGI, official launch

The official launch of the Melon de Guadalupe "PGI", the melon that received Protected Geographical Indication, was done in Rungis in the presence of Victorin Lurel, Minister for Overseas Departments.

The first production with PGI label was available in Rungis. The PGI is a guarantee of quality and excellence, a brand and a reference point for consumers. Just note that PGI was awarded in March 2012.

During his visit to the market of Rungis, Victorin Lurel met importers-wholesalers of overseas fruit production and visited their facilities.
