New agreements that will strengthen trade between the two countries and open a new stage of export cooperation.
Trade between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan has already increased by 30% over the last 5 months and will continue to strengthen after the new partnership agreements signed between the two countries that have also decided to cooperate together on exports.
These agreements include many commercial aspects (fruit vegetables, food products, pharmacy, petroleum) and economic cooperation for the next few years. The total amount of agreements between the two countries is estimated at USD 840 million.
These agreements, according to the signatories, inaugurate a new stage. Previously the two countries were competing but now they will cooperate to export together on the huge neighboring markets (Russia, China) and thus better meet the demands, particularly in the food sector (fresh and processed fruits and vegetables).
