From an old variety, Chouchou is good raw or cooked and is slightly sweet. Its leaves are thin and crisp. While belonging to the Brassicaceae family, Chouchou is between a cabbage and lettuce, which make it a highly digestible vegetable
Choudou is presented wrapped in cling film to preserve its freshness and has a long storage capacity.
Choudou is grown exclusively by the group Larrère, producer in Landes. Marketed in France, Choudou is also for export from October to April.
