FoodWeek Kazakhstan 2013

Almaty, capital of Kazakhstan, will host four trade fairs united under the FoodWeek banner, May 15 to May 17:

- FoodExpo Kazakhstan 2013, international exhibition for food and beverages (18th edition),

- FoodTek Kazakhstan 2013, international exhibition of machines for the food industry and equipment for bars and restaurants,

- PackTek Kazakhstan 2013, international exhibition of technologies and machines for packaging (18th edition),

- AgriTek Kazakhstan 2013, international exhibition for agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry (12th edition).

Kazakhstan is a major business opportunity: its food market was estimated at $ 3 billion, and domestic consumption increases by about 20% per year. The country produces less than 40% of its requirements for packaged food products and, as a result, it imports 60%.
