The hypermarket Auchan Sarcelles (Val d'Oise) was equipped with a antitheft system - comparable with those fitted to bottles of alcohol, video games and textiles - the packaging of red meat of Charal brand.

This provision was made ??in December, a few days before Christmas after finding a surge in the number of theft. Only for Charal articles, the "clients" were opening the packagings with knife, taking meat and hiding during the checkout.

Punctual provision had specified the direction of the hypermarket. Theft stopped, but the reactions remain high on the Internet and social networks. The hypermarket decided, at the begining of this week, to remove these antitheft.
