The potato sector prospects new markets

New destinations in view for the potatoes of New Zealand.

The organization Potatoes New Zealand plans the opening of the Vietnam market after discussions with Vietnamese officials. The market would be interesting, the potato is widely used due to the French influence on the cuisine.

Currently, Fiji is the largest exporting market of fresh potatoes . Australia continues to be the largest export market for frozen products (50 000 tons this year), but still refuses the fresh potatoes of New Zealand.
