Peruvian products are exported to 135 countries

MINAGRI, the Ministry of Agriculture announced that Peruvian agricultural exports of the country have gone to 135 countries between January and May 2014.

The United States topped with 24.9% of the total, followed by the Netherlands (13.9%) and Spain (5.6%), China (5%), Ecuador (4,9%) and Germany (3.8%). These six markets concentrate 58.1% of total exports, which grew by +22% and amounted to a value of 1,752 million U.S. dollars.

The agricultural trade balance recorded a surplus of U.S. $ +3.3 million during the first 5 months of the year,  exports total to 1,752,600,000 dollars, imports 1,749,300,000 dollars.
