New solution in sorting and packaging: makes labor work easier and therefore more effective

New opportunities for packers and sorters are now available with fully automated multi-level packing table for fruits and vegetables Model SPS-7-01, which can be simultaneously operated by 12 employees.
 

The innovative packaging table has been designed by Sorter to make labor work as easy as possible and therefore more effective. For this purpose the solutions which minimize the distance of reaching movements and carrying were implemented, and above all, the design reduces the unnecessary movements of the employee.
 

“SPS-7-01 allows our customers to pack in different containers, including: cartons, bags, trays and plastic packages, such as punnet containers. Each workstation is equipped with double scales set, which allows weighing products in cartons as well as in bags”, - explains Grzegorz Kwiatkowski, Sales Department Manager from Sorter. 
 

Worktop with rollers moves smoothly the packaging with little effort by the employee. At the same time empty containers are transported, by the highest conveyor, to the collection point. Central conveyor for product reception allows the automatic steering of fruit into the collective box. These reduce the need for the employee to leave the workstation.
 

Mr Kwiatkowski sums up: “All conveyors operate in automatic mode. In order to improve the comfort and safety of work, there is an emergency stop button at each station”.
