The AREFLH and Freshfel will lead the development of the IEP which associated professionals of the sector and centers of research and experimentation.

The AREFLH has decided to develop a European Partnership for Innovation (PEI) for fruit and vegetables.

In partnership with Freshfel, AREFLH will lead the project that will combine research, experimentation and transfer, and organizations representing the sector (production and trade).

The proposed topics for the PEI are: sustainable production (reduction of pesticide use, minimizing waste ...), market access (adapting products to market: new opportunities, new products such as the 4th range).

On November 19th, the AREFLH will attend the conference "The EIP on Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability – Priorities and Delivery Mechanisms" held in Brussels, during which the IEP will be developed.
