The stocks of South African oranges cat. I were sold out. Prices for the new arrivals in week 43 were declared on 1,12 US$/kg level. Cat. II was still available here and there. Argentine fruit in stocks were not good at all so the demand was not at that side. The expectations for the coming week are great.
Having started from 1,33 US$/kg in the beginning of week 43, prices for Argentine lemons reached 1,42 US$/kg in Saint-Petersburg and were even higher in Moscow in the end of the week. Turkish lemons after first arrivals with some quality and size problems (0,90 US$/kg in Moscow) started to go up as well. The offers from south – 1,44 US$/kg in week 43.
The situation remained to be the same as last week – up to 1,92 US$/kg for good quality little size Argentine fruits. Due to absence of vessels to Russia, Israeli Satsuma didn’t appear this year at all. Turkish one didn’t start. Moscow was trading by first Spanish mandarins.
