VIP Val Venosta celebrates its 20th Anniversary

In 20 years, VIP Val Venosta increased by 3 its production.
VI.P Val Venosta, Association of fruits producers has just celebrated the 20th Anniversary of its foundation. In this opportunity, a new office was inaugurated.
VIP was officially born on October 9th, 1990 with the signature of the act which established the new organization: Association of fruits producers’ cooperative Vinschgau - VI.P Srl.
During 20 years, production has tripled, passing from 118.000 tons in 1991 to 374.000 tons in 2009; new cultures were introduced, labels and certifications as the IGP, GlobalGAP, IFS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 was obtained.
Since the beginning, several functions were centralized as the sale services, administration, marketing, control of quality, IT control; these services employ at present 35 persons at the desk, whereas more than 700 are employed in the whole of the group.
During these years VI.P always adapted itself to evolutions of market. The story of the association, full of change and innovation, contributed to be prepared to face challenges of market.
