Kiwis and apples at the top of New Zealand's exports

In August, New Zealand exports, including fruits, recorded an increase in value according to Statistics NZ.

 

 

The total value of exports increased by 3.8% compared to August 2018.

 

 

 

Fruit exports performed much better. Gold kiwifruit exports since the beginning of the 2019 season (April to August) have increased by 17% in value and 13% in volume compared to 2018.

 

 

 

Apple exports since the beginning of the 2019 crop year (March-August) increased by 13% in value and by 6.9% in volume compared to 2018.
