Decline in volumes for the French production

Yield problem this year for the French production of cauliflower.
For the first time since the beginning of the 2000s, the volumes are lower than 300 000 tons.
According to the bulletin of conditions of Agreste, the center of Statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture, the production volumes of cauliflower are falling sharply. The 2013-14 production will reach 284,000 tons, - 15% compared to the previous year and 20% over the last 5 years.
This volume is less than 100 000 tons to the average harvest from 2000 to 2012. However, the surfaces remain with 19,200 ha, only -1% compared to the previous year.
