Peruvian avocado exports on the rise

From January to April of 2024, Peruvian avocado exports increased in volume and value compared to the same months of 2023, reports Agrodata Perú.

During the analyzed lapse in 2024, the country exported 183.591.356 kilos of the product, worth $386.385.679.

In the same months of 2023, Peru shipped 165.904.992 kilos of avocado, for a total value of $293.351.761.

The main recipients in 2024 remain the Netherlands (39% of total value), Spain (23%), Chile (11%), and China (8%), among other countries.
