Peru records strong blueberry shipments in first two months of 2026

The U.S. continues to play a key role in Peru’s blueberry trade.
Peru’s blueberry exports reached US$230.8 million in the first two months of 2026, with shipments totalling 40,853 tonnes, according to the latest report by Agrodata.
The figures mark an increase from the same period in 2025, when exports totalled US$193.9 million and 33,956 tonnes. The average export price in January-February 2026 stood at US$5.65 per kilo, broadly in line with last year’s US$5.63 per kilo.
In February alone, exports generated US$79.1 million from 14,638 tonnes, with an average price of US$5.40 per kilo.
The United States remained the main destination for Peruvian blueberries, followed by the Netherlands, while smaller volumes were shipped to markets including China, the United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
