Less exports of Turkish vegetables than in June 2012

The first 10 exported vegetables are tomatoes, peppers, onions, eggplant, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, cucumbers and cabbage.
The export of tomatoes is less than 40 percent compared to last year, with exportation of 33 000 tonnes . But these are cucumbers that have experienced the largest decline, with 85 percent less than in June 2012.
The importing countries are Romania, Iraq, Serbia, Bulgaria and Russia. Apart from Bulgaria, which increases its exports by 100 percent all other countries have experienced a decline in their purchases and in particular Russia, with 84 percent less imports.
