Disco-Ahold' s first store

Disco-Ahold International Holdings, the joint venture between the Dutch Ahold and the Argentinean Grupo Velox, has opened its first hypermarket in Peru, called Plaza Vea. Disco-Ahold, which already runs several supermarkets and discount stores in the country, plans the opening of up to ten hypermarkets within 2004.
