Peru remains a reliable year-round supplier of fresh produce, supported by trade agreements and broad market access.
Peru’s fresh produce exports expanded in 2025, contributing to a fifth consecutive record year for the country’s overall goods trade.
Figures from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism show total exports reached US$90.1 billion, up 21% year on year, with agriculture among the sectors driving the increase. Fresh shipments, including grapes, blueberries, avocados, mangoes, and citrus, continued to grow across international destinations.
Agricultural exports overall rose 18.5%, reflecting stronger volumes and sustained demand in global markets.
China remained Peru’s leading export partner, followed by the European Union, while the United States continued as a key destination for high-value fresh categories.
