The US expert missions and operational measures on the ground have helped to achieve this shared decision resumption of citrus exports.
APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) and ONSSA (National Health Security Office and Food products) have signed an agreement allowing the return of Moroccan citrus on the US market in October.
The United States received about 44 000 tons or 9% of Morrocan citrus exports, the EU 20% and Russia close to 50%.
