Last inspection of Polish apples for Chinese market approval
Met in Hong-Kong, Mr. Dominik Wozniak, PR Manager of the Polish association UNIA OWOCOWA has announced that on October 10th will be the last inspection of Chinese phytosanitory services in Poland.
This is the result of a large program launched by the Polish Apples professionals to have access to the booming Chinese market.
Mr. Wozniak announced proudly:
“We expect to get the final agreement for Polish apples in the beginning of November.”
This program has been led by several associations and bodies: the Association of Polish Fruit and Vegetables Fruit Union together with European Union, Polish government and growers. The budget was financed as: 50% European Union, 30% Polish Government, 20% Growers.
Mr. Wozniak adds:
“We have been able to make it possible in a record time of 2 years, when it normally takes 3 years. This does represent a big event for Polish professionals as this will enable us to enter in the booming market of China.”
