The Egyptian grape export has already begun
Egyptian grapes are one of the most widely grown fruit crops in Egypt with a sweet taste and excellent appearance. It is considered as the second most important fruit crop after citrus.
The exports of Egypt grape and growth in the number of varieties increases thanks to the efforts of producers who invest year after year in improving their products.
Salix, is a global import-export company of fresh fruit, is ready for work in which they hope to reach hundreds of tons grapes shipped to Europe, especially to the United Kingdom, Poland and the Netherlands. This year company available to export the harvest of Flame, Crimson Seedless, Red Globe, Early Sweet, and Sugraone.
In the Far East, company’s export destinations are Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Also plans to return export to West Africa as in previous seasons (Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Guinea).
Egyptian grapes are expected to be on the world market until mid-summer, without significant competition as other competing sources and seasons have already over or have not yet begun.
All shipments of grapes will be safe. Egypt has usually fairly stringent export protocols for it, this year will not be an exception, especially in the context of the COVID-19.
