FruitMasters will install 1.5 hectares of solar panels

The planned installation will have 7,000 solar panels and will cover 1.5 hectares.
FruitMasters is one of the largest fruit cooperative in the Netherlands. Since its creation in 1904, FruitMasters has been investing in new techniques for a more sustainable fruit crop. To reduce its CO2 emissions the company will install 1.5 hectares of solar panels.
The solar panels will be installed on different buildings of the Geldermalsen site. There will be 7,000 solar panels representing a total area of approximately 1.5 hectares. The energy generated will notably be used to cool the fruits in the cold stores.
FruitMasters is one of the largest fruit cooperative in the Netherlands. FruitMasters manages the marketing of the fruits of its producers both nationally and internationally.
