AFM (Avocados From Mexico) No. 1 firm sales in the United States launched its first campaign that targets breakfast, "Avocado Breakfast Club."
This campaign (18, July - 30 August) targets children who are preparing to return to school. Avocados, fresh, nutritious products, can easily fit in the morning meal and become a good eating habit.
Studies have shown that students who take a real breakfast improve their mathematics performance, have better attendance and more punctuallity, with a lot less anxiety or hyperactivity problems.
In the US the breakfast market is a sector that generates USD 65 billion and could reach 83 billion USD in value over the next eight years.
