In the first quarter of 2022, Peru exported 28,467,708 kilos of fresh pomegranate for a value of $55,145,447, which means an increase from the 21,647,841 kilos exported in the same period of last year, for a value of $45,921,529, according to the Agrodata Peru portal.
The main recipient country in 2022 is the Netherlands with $36,317,692 and a 66% share. Other destinations: Canada with $4,405,648 (8%), United States with $4.201.293 (8%), United Kingdom with $2,859,758 (5%), Russia with $1,426,124 (3%), United Arab Emirates with $1,491,719 (3%), Saudi Arabia with $717,518 (1%), other countries that together accumulated $3,725,696 (7%).
