Felix Instruments showcases new tool for fruit growers

Last week, at Fruit Logistica 2022, Felix Instruments presented the new Melon Quality Meter and carried out its first sales.

“We already have some large customers for our quality meter for melons in Central America. When we were developing the product, we worked closely with customers in Honduras and Guatemala. Then we tested the product further with South American and Australian fruit, and now we’re also testing it with European fruit. It seems to be a good-performing collaboration.”, said Léonard Felix, General Manager at Felix Instruments.

Aside from being capable of measuring fruit quality fast and non-destructively, Felix Instruments’ tools are reliable, robust, and lasting. Mr. Felix assured that even after falling down on the ground, the tool still performs well. “In our business we generally think about the product being usable for a minimum of five years or more.”, affirmed the director.
