A Singapore retailer has introduced a new measure to help households manage everyday costs.
Singapore retailer FairPrice has extended its price freeze on more than 500 everyday products until 31 August 2026, according to the company’s official announcement.
The measure covers frequently purchased groceries and household goods, including fresh fruit and vegetables. Prices will remain unchanged throughout the three-month period.
The frozen prices apply both in FairPrice stores and through its online shop. Products included in the programme are marked with a dedicated Price Freeze label to help customers identify them.
The initiative expands FairPrice’s efforts to keep essential goods affordable as households continue to face pressure from higher living costs and supply-chain uncertainty. FairPrice had previously frozen prices on a smaller selection of products before extending the programme to more than 500 items.
