Based in Montélimar, the group cultivates nearly 300 hectares of orchards across five production sites
The family-owned company grows a full range of stone fruits from early May through late September. “We’re expecting 4,000 metric tons of peaches and nectarines, 2,000 metric tons of apricots, 500 metric tons of flat fruits, and 80 metric tons of blood nectarines this season,” says CEO Sylvain Ripal. The farms are certified by GlobalG.A.P., H.V.E., and Vergers Co-responsables.
More flat fruits and late-season varieties
Nearly 80% of Domaine du Conquet’s production is exported to Germany, England, Sweden, Finland, and the Netherlands. Flat peaches and nectarines are currently the fastest-growing segment for the family-run cooperative, with nearly 1,000 metric tons expected to be harvested within the next five years. “We’re also expanding our late-season offerings with new late-season varieties,” confirms Sylvain.
