One of the most important exporting companies of fruit and vegetables in Turkey, "Uçak Kardesler", was refused entry of mandarins sent through Russia, because of its brand, reminiscent of aircraft.

While the company sent fresh produce without problems until now, Russian authorities accuse it of wanting to get an "insulting" message, "derogatory" and mandarins were either returned to Turkey or destroyed on site .

The company president, Mr. Hayrettin Uçak says that since 1 January 2016, he does not dare to send goods to Russia and sends them on other markets, particularly in Israel.

This company which exported for $ 300 million value before the airplane crisis, saw its sales decline by 90 percent in Russia.
