Forecasting an increase of 11% for the production of persimmons

The 2014 season promises to be excellent with a production increasing by 11%.

The Regulatory Board named " Caqui de la Ribera del Xúquer " expressed its forecast for the 2014 campaign with production expected to reach 80,000 tonnes, +11 % from the previous season. Fruits are considered high quality and good qualibre.

In a few years persimmons won market share both locally and abroad . To further enhance its consumer promotion campaigns are planned in Spain , Germany , the United Kingdom, Canada and France. The total of these investments will exceed 1 million EUR.
