Axfood to sell Spar Finland

Swedish retailer Axfood has sold its interest in Spar Finland to SOK for EUR 38.7 million. The SOK cooperative is part of Finland's S group, which comprises 22 regional cooperative societies and SOK with its subsidiaries. It has a 30 percent market share in Finland's food retail market. In 2004, Spar Finland had sales of EUR 566.2 million.
