One of the key measures for fruits and vegetables of the national plan

Minister of Health announced his wish to increase the donations to the discriminated populations of fruits and vegetables coming from the stocks taken off the market. According to the Minister, only 8 % of these fruits and vegetables would go towards charities. The total volumes of these fruits and vegetables in the European Union amounts to 319.525 tons. With about 40.000 tons taken off, France comes in the fourth position, after Spain, Greece and Italy.
