Supermarkets open longer for Olympics

The Stadium and the Olympic Park will receive millions of visitors.
Asda and Tesco have followed the government's decision to lift restrictions for opening hours during the Olympic period.
Asda has announced that five shops near the Olympic Park will remain open 24 hours on Sunday during the Games. Other stores in London will be open from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m..
The UK market leader, Tesco,
went further and announced that 200 stores across the country will offer new schedules. Most Tesco Extra will be open 24 hours and on Sunday during the Olympic period. Superstores and Metros will have longer opening hours.
Tesco said it listened to customers and staff have more flexible hours and Sunday openings during the Games.
