Start of the expansion of the port of Baku

 The first phase of the new complex of the International Port of Baku started.

According to the will of the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan, the port's capacity will be increased to 10 million tonnes of cargo and 50,000 containers per year for the first phase.

Then, during the second phase, the capacity will reach 17 million tonnes of cargo and 150,000 containers, and finally in the third phase, the capacity will be 25 million tonnes of cargo and 1 million containers.

Creating a new logistics center is also planned with possible storage of 100,000 containers.
