Spanish stonefruit production to increase

Despite severe drought, especially in the Iberian Peninsula, Spanish stone fruit production is set to rebound in 2006.
Plum production is set to increase to 190,000 tonnes compared with 180,000 tonnes the previous season.
Peaches, nectarines, apricots and cherries are all expected to show increases in volumes this year.
