It should be noted that in 2017, 18,486 ha were certified for export; in 2018 about 22,696 ha, in 2019 about 25,504 ha, and in 2020 about 31,273 ha.
The region with the largest avocado areas certified for export this year was La Libertad with 14,107 ha, (+12.13% compared to 2021), concentrating 31.72% of the total area certified in the current year.
Followed by Lambayeque, 8,120 hectares certified in 2022 (+7.5%) and with a participation of 18.26% of the total. Lima, 7,083 hectares (+25.63%), representing 15.92% of the total. Ica, 7,032 hectares, (+29.57%), concentrating 15.81% of the total. Other regions: Áncash (2,846 ha), Ayacucho (1,680 ha), Huancavelica (1,026 ha), Arequipa (981 ha), Apurímac (640 ha).
