Slowing exports

PSA , Philippines Statistics Authority reported a decline of about 4% in value of exported products for manufactures as for the agri-food products.

This decrease is explained by the regional and global economic conditions . Other Asian countries also recorded lower export performance . Weaker demand from China , a major trading partner , has a direct impact on the country's exports .

The Philippines has the most exported to China , Japan, the US , Hong Kong, Singapore , South Korea, Germany , Taiwan, Thailand and the Netherlands.
