Wholesale prices for pears rally in Crimea (Russia)

Based on the latest data, whole sale prices for pears are 2 times higher comparing to the previous year figures in Crimea. According to the recent information, costs for pears continue to soar on local fruit market. At the current moment pears are available at 0,6 – 1,4 EUROkg, price depends on fruit size, variety and quality of the fruit. This week figures have jumped up by 20% comparing to the last week numbers. Due to the local specialists, pears costs advance could be traced to decrease of fruits import from Ukraine and simultaneous rise of demand from the side of Russian companies.
