Good success for Pink Lady which increase their sales of 32 % in Europe.
Sales volume of Pink Lady for the 2009/2010 season is in increase of 32 % compared to the previous year.
Several factors contributed to the success of Pink Lady apples. Excellent quality products, dynamic participation of importers and distributors, marketing and media investments.
The dynamics of sales meets everywhere in Europe:
- Its first market Germany showed a 29 % increase compared to the previous season.
- For France (the most important 2nd market), increase of 17 %
- United Kingdom (17 %)
- Italy (27 %),
- Denmark
(21 %)
- Belgium (33 %)
- Norway (54 %)
- Ireland (130 %)
- Spain (60 %).
Several other markets show themselves very promising for a growth of sales: Russia, Israel, the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Singapore.
