According to the latest figures from KVH, 39% of New Zealand orchards are affected by PSA-V.
The nightmare seems endless for the kiwifruit industry in New Zealand ,where new cases of the disease are reported.
The disease affecting kiwifruit orchards continues to spread after 53 new cases within a week occurred. 45 cases are located near Te Puke and the others
in Tauranga
The KVH site (Kiwifruit Vine Health) now indicates 1030 infected orchards, 824 of them near Te Puke. 39% of orchards in New Zealand are affected by PSA-V.
