China is the first importing market for Viet Nam
According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture, China remains the largest consumer of Vietnamese Fruit & Vegetables exported during the first 4 months of 2017.
From January to April 2017, Vietnamese exports of Fruits and Vegetables reached about USD 1 billion ( approx 896 Million €) , up 32.6% from the same period last year.
China, the United States, Japan and South Korea were the top 4 importers of Vietnamese products.
Over the period, the largest annual increases have come from requests from Russia (88.7%) from Japan (50.9%), Thailand (34%), China (33.3%), Malaysia (32.8%), South Korea (18.7%) and the United States (13.3%).
For the year 2017, Viet Nam aims for revenues of around USD 3 billion ( 2,7 billion €) for its exports of Fruit & Veg, a +25% increase compared to 2016.
