Macfrut 2022: the avocado will be the focus of the 3rd edition of the Tropical Fruit Congress

The Macfrut exhibition will feature various events that will enrich the offer of this 2022 edition. Among these events, the 3rd edition of the Tropical Fruit Congress which will be dedicated to the avocado.

 

Tropical Fruit Congress is the only European conference dedicated to tropical fruit and is held within the framework of Macfrut. The 3rd edition will take place on 6 May and will be dedicated to avocado.

 

The aim of the event is to promote the exchange of ideas and information on market trends, technical innovations and best logistical and commercial practices. Speakers will include experts, buyers and producers from the world's main avocado production and consumption regions. 

 

In Europe, over the period 2016 to 2020, avocado consumption has shown an exponential increase in many countries, such as Poland (+123%), Germany (+119%), Italy (+107%), Spain (+100%), Denmark and France (+22%), Sweden (+13%) and the UK (+5%). 

 

Tropical Fruit Congress, in addition to the conference, will also include technical workshops and a thematic exhibition area.
